WHAT MEMBERSHIP MEANS
The Georgia Mountains & Lakes REALTORS® Association serves as a central source of information for our members and our main focus are real estate education, the promotion of professionalism in our industry and representing our REALTOR® members with legislative initiatives to create positive change for the real estate community. Throughout its history, GMLRA has exerted its influence in civic affairs in its capacity of representing a substantial segment of the business community across Northeast Georgia. The Association has contributed to various local charities over the years through a variety of fundraisers.
GMLRA membership provides a purpose, vision and mission in the promotion and protection of the real estate industry. It also provides a means for developing life-long affiliations, an outlet for community involvement and a means of defending the American dream of home ownership and private property rights. Members of the Georgia Mountains & Lakes REALTORS® Association aim higher, gain more and make greater strides in both their business and personal endeavors.
ARE YOU REPRESENTING YOUR INDUSTRY AS A REALTOR®?
A real estate agent is a REALTOR® when he or she becomes a member of the National Association of REALTORS® - The Voice for Real Estate, the world's largest professional association. The term REALTOR® is a legally registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics. When joining the Georgia Mountains & Lakes REALTORS® Association, members automatically become a member of the Georgia Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.
MEMBERSHIP TYPES & FEES
To join the Association, you will need to pay the prorated amount of your membership fees and an application fee. GMLRA's, GAR's, and NAR's fiscal cycles are based on a calendar year, January 1 - December 31.
New REALTOR® members will pay a $50 application fee in addition to the annual fee listed below.
REALTOR® MEMBER

A REALTOR® is defined as an individual who holds an active real estate or appraiser's license.

4 Steps to Join

SUBMIT a completed application with the appropriate membership fee.

ATTEND New Member Orientation within the first nine months of membership.

COMPLETE an NAR-approved Code of Ethics training within the first nine months of membership.
